Stream Fishing on the lower Kenai Peninsula, and Homer Alaska

If you are looking for a more remote fishing experience for families or groups of 4 or more, this adventure might be for you. It includes a water taxi trip across Kachemak Bay, hiking along a wooded trail, and fabulous fishing on a beautiful creek.
Timing: July 20 - August 10
Species: Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Dolly Varden Trout
Length of trip: 8 hours (full day). The trip includes a 40 minute water taxi ride each way, and approximately 1-1 1/2 total hours of hiking. The rest of the time is spent fishing and hooking the abundance of fish available.
Number of people: 4-6, or slightly more, if all from one group
Cost: $240 per person, not including the water taxi fee, which is approximately $90 per person.
